Coast to Bush and Classy Wine Tours
13 Kurrawa Avenue, Mermaid Waters The Classy Wine Tour is a full or half day tour visiting three wineries (half day tour) or up to four wineries (full-day luncheon tour). Visit Tamborine Valley Walk plus Albert River Valley and coastal lookouts. Travel in a Landcruiser luxury transport vehicle.
The four wheel drive tour is a full day at Lamington National Park. Join in on guided rainforest walks bird watching and hand feeding. A canopy walk and a visit to an Alpaca Farm will also be enjoyed by all. Visit Mount Tamborine and Springbrook National Park Natural Bridge, Purlingbrook Twin Falls and the best of all the lookouts. Lunch and morning tea are included.
Burleigh Brewing Company
Burleigh Brewing Company is Queensland's premium brewer and the Gold Coast's only craft brewery. You can buy takeaway beers from the Brewhouse Bar, Monday to Friday. The Brewouse Bar is open every Friday night (except the first Friday in January and Good Friday) for 'Friday Brew Jams'. Support local artists by having a beer, Sirromet wine and bubbles and free popcorn. Supervised children are more than welcome at the Brewhouse Bar The first Friday of the month is our chance to kick our heels up and party on when he host the Brewhouse Bash. Free entry, all welcome, live band, German sausage barbecue, delicious craft beers plus Sirromet wine and bubbles. Tours are held on the first Saturday of every month (except January). Join the Brewmaster for an hour of interesting and entertaining beer and brewing info and a tour of the facility. You will also enjoy four Burleigh tap beers and receive a logo'd glass to take home. You can then kick on for another hour of so as the Brewhouse Bar is open until 4pm.
David Fleay Wildlife Park
Nestled in a secluded haven in the heart of Burleigh Heads is David Fleay Wildlife Park. The park plays an important role in demonstrating Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service's conservation initiatives, particularly relating to threatened species. With dozens of threatened species in the Park for research, breeding and education, the park presents the best opportunity to see a large number of threatened native animals in one location. Discover a diversity of threatened wildlife as you amble through the cool green rainforest, containing cassowaries and Lumholtz’s tree kangaroos.
